About Colorado Translation

In 1997, Pame Bradford emigrated from her native Chile to the United States.

A student of English in her Chilean university, Pame quickly found her vacation turned vocation, and began working in the communications industry as a bilingual consultant and ad hoc interpreter and document translator.

The process of legally bringing her family to the United States, combined with her own long journey towards citizenship, opened her eyes to a market that she eventually discovered could range from back-alley black markets to $500/hour legal fees.

With her translation skills honed by continued studies and daily practice in professional capacities, Pame founded Colorado Translation to address a middle ground of high-quality, legal, and ethical Spanish language services that created an affordable option for immigrants.

A further goal was to create a "one stop" service that would guide and inform Spanish-speaking immigrants from arrival to citizenship, combining trusted external sources for accounting, legal, and notary services commonly required in the process.
